Christmas Highlight Reel...

Here are some of our favorite memories of the Christmas season. We have a new puppy! Her name is Winnie. She is a golden lab and she is deeply loved around here. After Christmas, we had a fun visit from the Smith family. The kids loved seeing their cousin Lydia!

Leading up to Christmas, we enjoyed unwrapping the rest of our picture books for our picture book advent. This was fun - we will do it again next year. Ann Voskamp's devotional was treasured again as well. Grandma Jo-Ann visited us and we went on the Christmas Train. We also had some snow and took full advantage by getting out sledding and building snowmen. Spencer and I got out for our December date, which involved running the seawall again - the best date activity! And this year we took a different route for our annual Christmas light drive and headed down to Trinity St. in Vancouver. We loved walking around the old neighborhood that was so beautifully decorated.

Ella's Christmas edition of "The Beaver Drive Courier" was very popular in our neighborhood and several of our neighbors filled out a cookie order form. This kept us busy baking and delivering cookies.

We were blessed to have 2 weeks off to spend together during Christmas Break. Tomorrow will be back to school for Dadda and back to homeschool for the rest of us. We are excited for the season ahead. Happy New Year!
